This is my best goat hair mop to far. The black hair is better than the white in the same Silver type.I have a $30 Raphael squirrel mop. If better than the Silver it isn't by much. I have the Silver 10 and 12. I have only used the 10. Money well spent. Going to get another. Using it for watercolor.

First thing I noticed was that the brush Farrell was loose and not clamped tight. I expected way more from the Silver company. If I'm going to pay premium prices for brushes, I expect premium quality

This is an excellent brush for oil painting. It is both soft and strong. Use for a light touch or moving some paint. Also cleans up easily and maintains its shape.

that’s pretty basic- all it had to do was NOT SHED

This is perfect for blending the paint on the canvas.

I love the softness of the brush and how much water it holds, but it loses hair every time I use it and they end up on my artwork.
