Nice bit of kit……as expected
Pro’s - light, compact, reasonably priced, battery powered so very convenient - no cords or petrol needed, surprisingly powerful, easy to assemble, not very loud, gave an even cut.Con’s - hard to tell when the grass bag is full, grass bag doesnt seem to collect the grass very well BUT this was due to a blockage from when it overfilled i think so may have been my fault. Other than that, nothing.Only used it the once and it’s done a great job. Managed to do my lawn using 1 and a half 4mha batteries worth. My lawn isn’t massive (roughly 5M x 10m) but a £135 battery powered lawnmower isnt designed for massive lawns at the end of the day. It was pretty overgrown though so it had to work harder which used more power. I think with regular cuts before it gets too long i could easily do it with one battery. I have several ryobi tools now and none of them have let me down. Would recommend.

Very happy with my choice
Ordered on Wednesday afternoon, delivered on Thursday using free standard delivery option.A replacement for a 43cm German corded mower, that literally went into meltdown on Wednesday. With the motor housing taking on the consistency of warm caramel topping! A quick browse showed a same brand replacement as two to three times the cost of this slightly smaller, but cordless Ryobi. My lawn is about 150 square metres, so theoretically within the capability of a 33cm mower. And I figured that saving the time (and energy), of not having to wrestle with cable, extension lead and safety overload cutout, would allow me to finish the task within the time of the standard battery’s 4amp/hour capacity. Some other reviews suggested that I was being overly optimistic. However, after an initial charge of just over 2 hours, I have just cut the still slightly damp and a little overgrown lawn in around 15 minutes, with the mulching plug in place, on the second highest setting; and still had about a quarter of the battery capacity remaining. After another one or two cuts, I expect to be able to take advantage of the 25mm shortest setting and the grass collection bag.The light weight is relatively easy to manoeuvre and cordless cutting is a revelation. My only criticism would be the design of the supposedly folding handle which is suggested to be removed for storage, but as the smug owner of two sheds this isn’t really an issue for me.Over all I’m very pleased with my choice and thus far very happy to recommend this mower.

Not a bad mower if you forgive its' limits.
I use this to mow the rather rough (mostly flattish) allotment grass that I own.Pros:It fits amongst the various tight spaces on my allotment beds.It is not a bad mower, able to chomp up grass that has grown higher than the wheels on the mower. If you already buy into the Ryobi system and have 3 batteries at around 4 to 5 Ah, it lasts about 15-20 mins on abattery, with a 5Ah lasting 20mins even with tough grass. It is very lightweight (I am 50odd and can carry it with one arm).It could easily do a standard UK lawn. The option to use the grass box or just let the grass mulch is good, but it has a small grass box. On a 20 minute mow, I change the box at least twice.Cons.If you don't have Ryobi batteries, this is going to cost you at least 2-3 batteries (which are not cheap)

Good lawnmower
This was very good no wires to worry about and cuts the grass really well we have a very large garden 1/4 acre. Recommend buying the longer life battery and have multiple chargers and batteries :)

A great improvement to corded cutting…sent back broken
I like ryobi as a brand, I use the power tools for renovations and they are great. I don’t think this is as good though.ProsLight weight and manoeuvrableReasonable valueUse any ‘one’ battery.ConsI quite like having a roller at the back of the cutting blades, this doesn’t.Battery power can get sucked away quickly if the blade is dragging so you have to cut the grass on a longer setting.Grass collection isn’t fabulous if the cutting length is short; clearly needs plenty air flow to do the job.Which brings me to the biggest issue…the cut height setting. The adjuster is very pasticky and is difficult to adjust, it also keeps popping out of the holes so needs readjusting. A proper pain!Would I buy it again? Probably not.UPDATE. The height adjuster has stopped holding its position and now I can’t cut my grass at all! Rubbish. Sending it back and I won’t buy another. I’ll stick with their drills!

Does the job well
I have had this a few months now, and used every 2 weeks. It works very well and I am pleasantly surprised. I have 3 small lawns around the house and If the grass is not too long I can do it on one 5ah battery. If its longer then it takes two (5 and a 2.0ah). I have a few batteries for my Ryobi tools so its never a problem having a charged up spare. Happy not to have to go through all the hassle of a petrol mower anymore and it cuts just as good IMHO.Pros: Lightweight, can use the battery in other tools. Cuts well and close to the edge. Grass collector is a good size.Cons: None I can think offGlad I bought a cordless one over an ICE mower.

Battery is good for one lawn only, but lightweight and cuts well
Easy to put together with the pictures. But was confused by the “red key “ as the pics didn’t really show where it went. But to be honest, keep looking you’ll find it lolIt cuts nicely. But does seem to clog with the grass cutting basket on the back. Can’t figure out why. It’s light enough to pick up and carry through the house. Which is a massive bonus. My only complaint is the battery doesn’t last long enough. My lawns aren’t that big. But the battery will only last long enough to do one at a time. And it’s a long charge timeOther than that, great mower
