Taste
This is the best protein powder I've ever used. The flavor is what brings me back, as well as the protein kick. I drink my protein shake in the am and fast till 400 or 500pm. I eat once a day and this holds me. I mix other things in with this powder ,mixes very well

Awesome!
I've been out of the workout game for a few years now due to family and work obligations, but after a recent health scare I realized I needed to place a larger commitment to my own personal health. back when I was working out a few years ago I would get Syntrax Nectar "fuzzy navel" which was pretty decent in terms of the taste but I was unable to find it when I was going to order. I was skeptical of trying the Strawberry mousse, and was pleasantly surprised by it's taste. I use a full scoop in 8 oz. skim milk and it comes across like vanilla Quik or a Strawberry shake. For full transparency: No, you can not completely get rid of the aftertaste. It is still whey protein mix and it will still taste like protein mix no matter how much flavoring you hide it with. That said, this is unquestionably the most palatable Protein I've ever had. I'm not sure how Syntrax did it, but I could literally drink this stuff all day long.Regarding other reviews complaining it doesn't mix well. I'm not sure how they are mixing this, but take a few bucks and get a blender bottle (it's has a screw-off cap and a wire mixing ball inside) here on Amazon for under $7. I've yet to have this protein not mix well and can only guess they are using a glass and a spoon which never mixes a shake very well.I was always a fan of Syntrax as they put out a really good product and don't hide anything in the labeling (i.e. "Proprietary blends") so you know what you are getting which seems like a rarity these days.If you dig strawberry Quik this will definitely suit you!

Product has changed over the years!
I have been using Syntrax protein powder over the years since my diet is protein based. It saddens me to see this product decrease in quality and increase in price. The Syntrax Nectar Sweets Vanilla Bean Torte no longer mixes up easily, tastes like fresh vanilla, and is now gravitating towards being an “average” thick shake like all the others. The amount of vanilla beans has decreased as well. The Syntrax brand for isolated whey protein powder used to be a winner for me because prior to the pandemic it would mix up clump free, effortlessly with a spoon, and was thin like juice so it was easy on my stomach. Now it is very uncomfortable to finish my drink if I attempt anything past the three quarter mark.As I mentioned the price has increased on all of their products and not just this flavor I am reviewing. I noticed on it other websites and the Syntrax website when I tried to shop around to save money. It is difficult for me to afford ♾️50.00 plus on one when my daily protein intake requires 4-6 protein shakes due to medical reasons. I support myself and I was disabled out of work from an incurable condition.I have tried other brands since Syntrax Nectars has started “price gorging” but I am unable to tolerate them. So due to the cost I am no longer able to consume the 4-6 shakes daily and instead 1-2 shakes daily. It is a shame companies do this to faithful customers without thought of who they are hurting.

Update: Changed To FROTHY, Not So Perfect Anymore
Has all the right nutrition features and flavors I want and need. Simply the BEST on the market. So glad that it's now available once again. Sadly, the packaging has changed from a tub with a screw top, to a bag (which I don't like at all). Even the new "scoop" is big FAIL. But since I still have my previous tubs of various flavors--and the original purple scoops on hand, I just transfer the bag contents to a previous tub and previous scoop. The important thing is this excellent, delicious protein powder with its best nutrition profile. Very low sodium, too! Others not so low in sodium. Frankly, It doesn't mix as well with a spoon, a shaker is better, but I generally zap mine for a few seconds in small blender. For summer, I make the Blizzard using vanilla powder and various kinds of frozen berries or fruits. A real treat and SO delicious and nourishing. Thank goodness it's now available again.

Beware the Oxygen Absorbers!
I have seen two small, red packets of oxygen absorber in the package and didn't think much of them. I accidentally scooped one up with today's drink and used my mini blender to mix it. I didn't even realize that I had an oxygen absorber in there until I got to the bottom of the cup, and it had been shredded, so I know I drank some of the contents. PLEASE USE BIGGER ONES THAT WON'T HIDE IN THE SCOOP!Otherwise, so far these taste great (cookies)! I mix with lactose-free milk and it's great. I tried mixing with coffee and it does not mix well. I wasted a cup of coffee and a serving of protein powder, but at least I know now. It's a little on the sweet side, but not terribly so.I had colon surgery two years ago and they removed my ileocecal valve and ever since then my protein levels have been low. I'm hoping that when I go for a recheck in May, my levels will be back in the normal range. Right now, I only drink one in the morning, but will add a lunch one if necessary. From what I've seen, this is the best price if you're looking for whey protein isolate. Regular whey protein does not agree with my digestive system.I can't decide if I want to try chocolate or strawberry next time.

Works perfect
I use this in my coffee instead of sugar and extra cream. I do use a zero sugar creamer to cool down my coffee enough to put this protein powder in. Since you cool the coffee it mixes so easy and dissolves. Then I add more coffee to heat it back up. Most protein powders will not mix if the coffee is too hot. It’s like it cooks it. If you cool it some it will mix right in. I use other flavors of skinny syrups or zero sugar creamers to make the flavor I want.
