A real Godsend
This product really works well. My wife and I bought two new kit bags for our snorkelling gear prior to a trip to Sharm El Sheikh. However, being new, the zips on the bags were somewhat stiff. After just one application, all the zips were free moving and didnt catch at all. Used on my fin boots and shortie as well with the same results and with regular use made them even smoother to use. The brush is great for not only getting the liquid deep into the zip, but is also great for getting rid of sand and debris. Have even used this product on the zips of our suitcases which open and close much better now.

Does the job
Fairly easy to use and effective. I would recommend.

Don’t bother
Useless, squeeze the bottle and it comes out the lid around the cap, too messy and would suggest silicone spray that I’ve used for years…..tried this as a change and went straight in the bin.

does the job
Liquid is a bit 'drippy' but there doesn't seem to be any other product out there that does the same job. Well done McNett for delivering what is required

Not sure I'm feeling the benefit
I have a Fajllraven jacket, which was about £450 new. It's only a year old, and the lower zip (it's a split zip design) often gets stuck.Enter McNett Zip Care. Seems to suggest it can do what I need - maintain and improve zip performance, and the price was good enough that you would somewhat expect proven results. However, I'm not all that impressed. The 'cleaner' attachment does little to get rid of dust or dirt, the chemical goes on easily, and works well for a few zips, but on-going I still have the same issues with the zip.Now it might be that my zip is damaged, but when using the zip immediately after application it functions perfectly. Only when the chemical dries out does the zip go back to poor performance.I've done 3 applications in total, and results are the same.I'll keep perserveering with it, because I now have a bottle of chemicals that I might as well use, but so far this is not visibly maintaining or improving the performance of the jackets zip.*** Pros ***- Easy to apply- Likely benefits the zip over time, but unproven*** Cons ***- Perhaps too easy to apply (easy to put too much on the zip, which can leak onto the jacket)- Doesn't improve zip performance once chemical has dried- Brush attachment is seemingly uselessOverall, unless I'm missing something, I've wasted £7 and 20 minutes of my time.
